| Manchester Airport is surprisingly small. Trolley fee is 1 pound to which you slot in a vending machine and it will release one trolley for you. We were lucky to find one already unlocked, thanks to a good samaritan. |

| After sorting out the bikes and UK simcard which was pre-purchased online and shipped to Calvin's address, VT and Claudine rode the short 4.3 km distance to Ken Fosters Cycle Logic to collect the pre-ordered Bromptons. Out of the 4.3 km distance, 3.2 km was spent on Fallowfield Loop a dedicated bike lane. |

Review : 500 m to Sainsbury's, a medium sized store with a large range of products, some home range and clothing. There is also a pharmacy inside. It isn't like a superstore but is well stocked and big enough for weekly shops. Ample open spaced parking lots. Problem with the common bathroom where the lights were never repaired throughout our stay and also upon our return as well! The management supplied an emergency light which kept the bathroom dimly illuminated. Same goes with the clogged shower in the master bedroom which was never repaired. In the end Booking.com helped to get owner to refund one day rate to us.
