Our apartment building was formerly The Infant's Hospital. This building from 1907 operated as a hospital to treat children, train doctors and nurses and research childhood ailments and infant mortality. The building ran as a hospital until 1946 before it was turned into private dwellings.

London Zoo is the world's oldest scientific zoo. Opened in 1828, it is managed under the aegis of Zoological Society of London, hence the name ZSL London Zoo. The animals were initially intended to be used as a collection for scientific study. The zoo was later opened to the public in 1847.

Nelson's Column @ Trafalgar Square

Nelson's Column constructed between 1840 to 1843 to commemorate Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson's victory at the Battle of Trafalgar. Even though the British Army was victorious, Nelson lost his life in this battle
