At the start of the Taglio del Sile Ciclabile, sitting on a boat dolly. There were a few anglers near us and they told us there were mostly koi's in the river |
Note the same boat dolly at the same location in Google Maps' streetview |

...until VT pointed it out! |

Charming decor |
Rewarding dinner! |
Venice to Latisana....via Taglio del Sile Ciclabile saw many cyclists on the route. Part of this bike path is on compacted gravel. Gorgeous views of the river to our left and the sea to our right. We saw many swans faraway and one even took off majestically.
While we picnicked by the river at La Salute, one abandoned building with a memorial caught our attention. Sad to know 2 men were tortured to death here by Nazi soldiers at the eve of Liberation, 25 April 1945.
