Junior rummaging for chocolates during this photo break. After this photo was taken, the group went ahead and by the 2nd roundabout, mother and son were lost momentarily. Thankfully, Zoe was waiting at the next roundabout but the 3 lost lambs were clueless where the shepherd had taken his flock! Thankfully, the group was reunited not far ahead, at the 3rd roundabout! |

As today is Saturday, sandwiched between Good Friday and Easter Sunday, many shops were closed. Again, lunch was a picnic of sorts. |

Tuttidi market is just a stone's throw away from the entrance to New Duino Castle but since it was under renovation, we decided it was not worth to pay for the entrance fees |
 |
Instead, we tried walking in the back lanes to catch some glimpses of the castle but to no avail... |
 |
...we were rewarded with sights of an old well... |

View of the Gulf of Trieste and Castello di Miramare from Route SS14 You can spot Sailing Yacht A in the middle of the photo. Owned by Andrey Melnichenko, the yacht was seized by Italian authorities on 12 March 2022 due to EU sanctions against a number of Russian businessmen as a consequence of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. It was anchored at Gulf of Trieste when we were there and still remain there at publishing date! |

Latisanna to Trieste....Today's ride via Galleria Naturale sulla Strada Costiera on Route SS14 is super duper gorgeous! Deemed as the Gateway to Trieste, riding through the natural rock that has been tunneled through to allow passageway was jaw dropping. Besides that, there were endless views of the Gulf of Trieste.
